When I add a tag to my git repo outside of Eclipse and then click on the refresh button in the "Git Repositories" view then the tags list isn't refreshing. It is, though, refreshing based on the time interval set in the EGit Preferences (default: 300s). If I change this to, e.g., 5s then the tags list is updating according to this interval.

I think that an explicit refresh should also refresh the tags list, not only the automatic background refresh.
